Diagrams accompany the statements on the correct usage and placement of ball bearings in airplanes. Includes such facts as: there are two ball bearings for airplanes (radial or annular bearing and the thrust bearing), mounting of ball bearings (permanently tight fit on shaft), lubrication (use as heavy a lubricant as possible), and more.

Cream wrappers, in good condition. 10 pages, measuring 4 x 9 inches in size. Contains black & white figures. The wrappers have rubbing on both sides, and wear along ed…ges. Corners are bumped. There is a tear along the hinge, measuring 1.5" from the top. The back cover also has a long tear measuring 2". Binding is strong, with no loose or missing pages. This is an ex-library copy. The front cover and first page both have a small "Engineering Reading Room" stamp. The front cover also has a catalog sticker in the corner, another library stamp, and a note in pen that reads "Not to be taken. Reading Room".
