From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. A dramatization of the early years of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, known as "Sissi," and her courtship and marriage to Franz Joseph I of Austria, following his previous engagement to her older sister Duchess Helene in Bavaria. 8 x 10 inches.
