Publisher's tan covers illustrated and lettered in red-and-gold, and prominently bearing the Ukrainian coat-of-arms. Black-and-white photographic frontispiece of Sikevich accompanied with many additional black-and-white photographs, portraits, group portraits, and illustrations. One very small spot the centre of the front cover, else, extremities exceptionally well-preserved. Contents entirely without blemish with bright, clean, and unmarked pages and firm, sound binding. Exceptionally rare to be offered in commerce. At time of cataloguing not found in Peel, University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections, BAC/LAC, et al. Rare indeed. He served as a colonel in the general staff of the Russian army. During the Ukrainian struggle for independence (191720) he served as brigadier general of the Army of the Ukrainian National Republic and head of the Repatriation Commission of the UNR consulates in Hungary and Austria (191920).
