Na Ovidia, Catulla, Marcia navazali francouzsti basnici, galantni poezie se rozvijela uz od renesance; tehdy se uvolnila fantazie a vznikla svoboda pro milostna vypravovani; vrcholu dosahla v 17. a 18. stoleti. Psala se ve stoleti devatenactem, pise se dodnes, nebot smat se a obracet tragiku lasky v zert uzdravuje a tesi zkrusena srdce. Rozmarne lasky hrani vychazeji dvojjazycne. Co se mezi dvema lidmi pri lasce deje, je dvojjazycne.
