Condición: New. The ancient city Temenouthyrai lay on the main road as Usak now lies on the same route. On account of its situation very many inscriptions in the Museum came from the neighbouring towns and places. The transit of most of the stelae to the Museum from the antique sites was the result of clandestine digging by the local people and smugglers who were not to be relied upon for the source of information about the provenances of the stones they brought to the Museum. Therefore it required some effort to group similar or typical stelae together in a book, especially the funerary ones, which might have been issued from the areas in close proximity.
