A generously owned copy. The frontispage has a previous owner signature (P J dek de Villiers, Boschkloof, Calsdon, Oct 6th 1902). There is also a more recent gift inscription. The boards have much wear, marking, scuffing all about. The corners are knocked. The spine too, has wear and is scruffy. However, the scarlet boards and spine are comfortable and secure. Within, the contents have evidence of contented use throughout. The front and later papers have owner marks. The pages have some handling marks, corner creases, wear about the edges, occasional age related marks/ foxing.
