Research indicates MacDonald later earned his Architecture degree from Carnegie, served as an architect for the City of Pittsburgh until retirement, and subsequently worked for Slippery Rock University. The reverse of the registration card contains his original handwritten geometry calculations, transforming this already attractive textbook into a tangible piece of mid-century engineering and architectural education history. The hardcover is in Near Fine+ condition, an unusually attractive survivor for a heavily used technical textbook of this vintage.
