The plates have a little offsetting and the leaves have indents from the stab holes from being bound, 3 leaves are browned. the plates are after Thomas Uwins (3 named in plate) the portrait artist, the Hofer plate has been trimmed at base, but by the printers, no loss to image. Very Good. *The text has some variance to the online history, mainly spelling and place names (such as Hoffer and not the single letter F), but mentions some figures not given attribution in the article on the Hero of the Rebellion. He was betrayed and executed by firing squad by the Italian military court on the orders of Napoleon, he later denied giving the order.
