We have sold books since 1976. We have always tried to provide the book as advertised. Or ones sold to customers direct when we had a bricks and mortar shop or did fairs. We have sold to private collectors & institutional libraries over these 45+ years without any complaints or returns. We pack with 100% recyclable materials, even the tape is bio-degradable. ALL books can be returned in the condition sent for full impartial full refund including any postage costs. We never use the word fine unless it is a NEW book. Nearly Fine or Very Good are our best ratings. We try to provide the same service a buyer would expect from a trade association member worldwide. I haven't joined a Bookseller trade and have no intention of doing so due to once being an auction valuer for 20 years and I prefer to keep my powder in my own horn and not someone else's just in case the work leads me to valuing and NOT dealing in the future. We don't specialise and our printed and manuscript material we offer ONLY on this site these days is wholly owned by us and as you will see, on many subjects and periods. 1500-2000
