Esta exposición muestra un total de más de 100 fotografías de pioneros como Paul Strand, en 1916, aunque se presenta de modo particularmente amplio la época que sigue a la Primera Guerra Mundial, especialmente en los años veinte y treinta, tanto de los celébres fotógrafos vanguardistas como Man Ray o Lászó Moholy-Nagy o de artistas entonces más jóvenes como Claude Cahun o Gertrud Arndt.
