He writes here about his friends: Morgan, Rockefeller, Stillman, Carnegie, Schwab, Mellon, Frick, and the San Francisco Bonanza Kings. The book is dedicated to J. P. Morgan. Interesting reference about Alexander McKenzie (who controlled politics in the Dakotas at the time) regretting not being able to inform Custer of the impending doom at the Little Big Horn. He knew the Sioux and knew of their movements, but he contends U.S. Army troops prevented him from getting word to Custer. Signed.
