Advertising Pamphlet. First Edition. OP The J. I. Case Company (Now Case I. H.) is still one of the leading manufacturers of tractors and other motorized farm equipment. "1 Acre Equals 4 Acres : Modern Pasture Management" was published in the 1950s in cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service. It is a detailed instruction booklet with a lot of good information and proven techniques for utilizing plowing techniques to increase pasture productivity, both for livestock and crops. The book is illustrated with green tinged photographs, showing farmers using J. I. Case equipment at work protectively managing farmland so that it becomes more useful and more productive. There are also line drawings which add additional visual references. This pamphlet presented valuable information for farmers. CONDITION -- NEAR VERY GOOD -- This is a previously owned book which is nicely preserved - a soft bump to the upper fore-edge corner tip and a touch of staining to the rear cover being the main evidence of handling.
