Añadir al carritoDVD. Condición: NEW. DVD. 61-minute feature film with over 30 minutes of deleted scenes and extras. Professionally pressed and printed DVD disc, housed in a standard clear DVD case. Full color photographic layout. 20-page saddle-stitched booklet insert containing artwork and an unpublished essay by Alex Caldiero as well as a critical essay by UVU Professor Scott Abbott. "The Sonosopher" is an experiential voyage into the peculiar life and art of Alex Caldiero. Tracing his birth and childhood in rural Sicily as well as his coming of age as a poet in New York City, Caldiero is found living in conservative Utah years after his conversion and separation from Mormonism. The film explores Caldiero's lifeflong artistic investigation into "Sonosophy," a unique hybrid of sound, poetry, and philosophy. Borrowing techniques from such diverse genres as avant-garde film and cinema verite, "The Sonosopher" portrays Caliero's life and work at its most traditional and most bizarre. Utilizing these diverse methods, the filmmakers arfully blend current performance and interview footage, 8mm family videos, and archival material to tell the intimate story of this Utah artist.

As new. *The Fifth Goal* collects all eight issues of Blake Donner's zine devoted to freight train graffiti, reprinting every page and cover in its entirety, along with texts by each of the contributors about freight train graffiti and Donner's life and work. Begun as a zine devoted to spiritual issues within the framework of Krishna, *The Fifth Goal* began with some graffiti shots, but by the time of the fourth issue the editor had abandoned the Krishna movement, and the zine became a spiritual exploration of freight train graffiti. The final five issues, with their new cut-and-paste aesthetic, high contrast photographs of boxcar walls and interviews with the artists of previous generations, make it one of the most beautiful zines of its era. Blake Donner died in 2005. This book was a communal effort put together by his friends and by enthusiasts of the zine, who over the course of two years found each other in remarkable ways and slowly tracked down each of the original issues. The first edition of *The Fifth Goal* sold out before publication and was released at Printed Matter's 2015 LA Art Book Fair.

I understand science, physics, mathematics, and evolution. There is no denying the truth of these topics. I don't feel my belief in God contradicts any of these subjects. I expect the day that physics proves the existence of God. That day is closer than most realize. I understand the mathematical odds of humans being the only intelligent life there is. There must be other beings out there. I truly believe there are, and that they are tied to God as well. Evolution: The Long Journey Home is a story that holds many truths. God exists and He loves us being the greatest. In all ways I hope your journey is a blessed one.
