Circa 1870 (dated from Copac), 4to, 260 x 225 mm, 10¼ x 8¾ inches, bright yellow card covers with coloured floral border and lettering in red, blue and black. 6 charming colour plates printed by Kronheim. Each faces a page of 3 10-line verses which recount the fun on each of Lily's birthdays from the 1st to the 6th when Grandfather gives her a Bible. Neatly respined with cream paper strip to cover old stabholes where once sewn with others in an album. Covers otherwise exceptionally bright, stitching starting to work loose, 60 mm (2¼ inch) closed tear and 5 mm (¼ inch) chip to lower edge of 1 text page, otherwise contents also very nice.
