About the author: "Melissa Klein writes a fiction zine called Inkling. Her short stories have been included in several anthologies, most recently It's All Good on Manic D Press, and her monologues and plays have been performed in a number of theaters and festivals. She believes in creative expression as a tool for empowerment and has taught writing and theater to homeless youth, recent immigrants, and incarcerated young women. She works with her activist punk community in San Francisco to create street theater around subjects ranging from local gentrification to the USA PATRIOT act."
