12mo. 18.5 by 13 cm. 96, 16 pp. The last 16 pages are Partridge's Catalogue of Illustrated Publications. Portrait plates of each of the four speakers -- these are counted in the pagination -- ornamental bands at the beginning of each chapter (or speech), woodcut vignettes at the close of each chapter. A few leaves or gatherings somewhat loose, and slightly broken hinge. Generally age toned, with occasional foxing, a few light pencil markings (which we think better to keep instead of erasing), but mostly clean otherwise. The Catalogue section is on a thinner paper, and it is foxed more heavily. Blindstamped Cloth, with gilt and black stamping also on front cover and spine (lettering, decoration, names of speakers).…
