Hardcover. Condición: Acceptable. 2nd. The book exhibits noticeable wear, particularly on the spine and edges, with some fraying visible. The colorful cover retains its charm despite the wear. The binding is intact, and the pages are in good condition, with some light foxing. There is an inscription on the inside cover, but it does not detract from the book's overall appeal. Wallace Goldsmith (ilustrador).…

Hardcover. Condición: Very Good condition. Boston: John W. Luce and Company, 1906. 4.5" wide by 7.25" tall. A clean, square copy. No owner's name or bookplate. Pages are unmarked. Bound in the original multicolor cloth (the pattern looks like something seen on blankets woven by Indians of the American Southwest). Printed paper label on spine. Pictorial paper label, in green and black, on the front cover. The label's art work features a bald-headed man using a huge quill pen to swirl heavenly bodies above (the planets and moons are drawn with disconcerted facial expressions). This is a curious little volume filled with humorous advice, anecdotes, poems, and wordplay. Text is printed on alternating pale green and pink pages that have a celestial background (stars, planets and crescent moons in white). Illustrated with frontispiece and more than 50 other cartoon-like drawings by Wallace Goldsmith. Second volume in the publisher's FOOLISH series (after THE FOOLISH DICTIONARY, A DICTIONARY OF HUMOR by Gideon Wurdz). 1st ed? (No additional printings listed). Hard Cover. Very Good condition. Illus. by Goldsmith, Wallace . Unpaged (approx. 120 pages). 1st ed? (No additional printings listed). Goldsmith, Wallace (ilustrador).…
