Añadir al carritoEphemera. Typed letter signed, dated July 10, 1951. Addressed to 'Dear Eddie' (Edward F. O'Day). Letter discusses a manuscript by Josselyn about Carmel (California) Village between 1900 to 1938 that he has completed and submitted to various publishers without success. Stanford University Press is currently considering the manuscript and Josselyn asks O'Day for advice and assistance. About 700 words. Letter previously folded for mailing. Talbert Josselyn (1886-1961) was a writer, mainly for pulp fiction magazines. His story 'Smuggler's Cove' was made into a movie of the same name in 1948. He wrote additional movie screenplays. Carmel book does not seem to have been published.
