Two color decoratively illustrated endpapers. Stray lines of blue ink at bottoms of pages 25 and 31; some foxing and a few spots of soiling and scattered small stains to interior leaves. Binding is firm. A trained architect and an occasional artist, President Sukarno was a prolific collector amassing more than 2300 artworks by the end of his presidency with many of his premier paintings featured in this stray volume being prescient choices as they are now regarded as landmarks of Indonesian and Asian modern art. Unfortunately the Presidential Palace collections have been adversely affected by "loans" and outright disappearances since his passing as corruption has pervaded successive political administrations.
