Frontispiece portrait of the author, with tissue-guard. A collection of poems about the life of the traveling salesman, also known as a Drummer, commercial traveler, or Knight of the Grip. There is also a selection of Civil War poems and miscellaneous pieces, in the chapter "G. A. R. Gems" [Grand Army of the Republic]. Besides Streeter, contributors to this volume are Mrs. Ella Wheeler Wilcox, John DeWitt, C. E. Banks, Lafe Heidell, Robert Lovell, Frank Olive, Joseph De Barth, J. W. Crawford (Capt.
