Añadir al carritoCloth. Condición: Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Fine. First Edition. This is a harrowing and inspiring story of a boxer fighting for more than a title. Andy Till was the youngest of nine children and suffered years of physical and mental abuse at the hands of his parents. He started boxing at 11, the same age at which he started working on a greengrocer's stall. As an amateur boxer, he had 122 fights and was an ABA finalist. At 23, he became a professional boxer and quickly rose through the ranks, winning the Southern Area title and the WBC International title. He also fought for a European title and was just one fight away from a world title shot. In 1993, he received the Best Fight of the Year award for his epic battle with Wally Swift Jr., which was shown on Sky TV. Out of 28 professional fights, he won 25. Here he speaks very openly about the hardships of childhood, his career and his very painful and messy divorce. This illustrated first edition is sold in MINT condition in a MINT unclipped dustwrapper.
