A friend and contemporary of writers like Cleve Adams and Raymond Chandler, Stinson's mystery output was tempered by his commitments to newspapers and radio, as well as ill health. Bumped and rubbed with wear at the corners and upper rear board, and a short tear to the spine heel. Hinges a bit loose with the front hinge cracked at the half title page. Sticker on the rear end paper from the Caravan Bookshop in St. Louis. Inscribed on the front free end paper "To Dr. Ernest M. Moore with the sincere good wishes of the writer.
