Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. End-papers are more notably tanned. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Jacket split in half at the spine.

Spine is marked and worn. Binding is tight. Book is in good condition with the exception of the spine.

Lower corner-tip has sustained a light bump that affects all leaves, terminal leaf sports an inch-square seller's fiche (Perkins Oriental Books of Pasadena CA), item is otherwise quite sound and clean, and otherwise unmarked. A very good copy. We gather from another entry on the net, that the 1949 annual may have been a one-fer, never again repeated, although editor/publisher Brogden helmed other similar items.
