Their idea was to supply cattle (meat) to the miners in the Cariboo gold camp.…They got to a rest spot on the north end of Okanagan Lake and the rest ._._._. is history !! Today the ranch is an active tourist interpretive center. Read more about : Catherine Schubert, Balmoral school and the butler's pantry in the mansion. One map and b/w photographs assist text. Cond ; paper wrapper is white with black lettering. Front cover b/w cameo photograph features the `modern' stagecoach at the ranch. Volume seems to have been dedicated by the author to a previous owner - now whiteout is added.No other names, nor marks. No tears nor bumps. History reference for the B.C. interior.
