This delightful little children's book was written by the Principal at Engelhard Elementary in Louisville, Kentucky. Every page is a full page patriotic drawing (some in color). The opposing page to each contains a 4 line Stanza regarding the drawing. One can sing the entire book to the tune of "Yankee Doodle Dandy". All in all in very good shape, it does show typical wear around the edges. It does still retain it's original opaque onion-skin type dust jacket, although it is moderately yellowed, and has some splits and chips, BUT it did serve it's purpose of protecting the main body of the book, which is pristine away from the edges.
