Original Cloth. Condición: Good. First Edition. Ex-Boots Library copy. Boards have the outline of the Boots label to the front panel. The rear panel has a small patch of surface tearing near the centre and there is a little surface marking to the covers and some fading to the spine. Page edges browned with some spotting and a small black pen mark across the bottom edges near the spine. There is a thin strip of label residue along the inner edge of the rear pastedown and some light spotting to the first and last few pages. The pages are a little browned with a few marks and spots in places but otherwise generally unmarked. No jacket. First printing.

Interestingly he was the first North American radio host to play the Beatles in 1962. He wrote three mystery novels after a substantial football Pools win allowed him to retire in comfort.
