In very good minus half green cloth and olive green leather, with five raised horizontal bands on spine, gilt titles and decoration. The boards are very firm and flat, quite clean, leather on sides of spine and edges of corners scratched and a little torn. Unmarked red, green and off white marbled end papers. The gilt-edged text pages are very tightly bound and straight; prelims and end pages slightly foxed; the Index is lightly tanned; the rest of the pages are clean. No dedications etc. With 'new designs by W. F. Keyl and E. Smith, engraved by G. Pearson'. Very good minus condition. Without jacket. Heavy.
