Title page states "First printing: June 1995," but number line runs 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2, only -- the second printing. As new and unread; boards resist opening past 70 degrees. Arguably the world's most famous disc jockey, the Wolfman (nee Bob King in Brooklyn, N.Y., 1938) at one point preached the gospel of rock, soul and rhythm-and-blues to 100 million listeners over 2,200 radio stations in 43 countries, and played himself in George Lucas' iconic film "American Graffiti." Unfortunately, on July 1, 1995, Wolfman Jack taped his show, went home, and died of a heart attack after completing only the first leg of his book tour, meaning signed copies of this autobiography are in somewhat limited supply. This presumably unique copy inscribed & signed on the half-title page in black marker: "To B.B. King / You know I love ya! / You are so special / Wolfman Jack." with Jack's characteristic cartoon of two eyes and a pair of wolf ears adjoining. The Word "inscribed" -- for those in Westminster, California and Derry, New Hampshire, who can't seem to figure this out -- means that the author has written words to the recipient in addition to his own name -- often a salutation by name. Acquired in Las Vegas, home of (fellow) former disc jockey and world-famous purveyor of the blues Riley B. "Beale Street Blues Boy" King, in October 2007 with a group of 16 other titles previously owned by the King of the Blues -- all but one of which have now sold. 363 pp. This volume now reduced from $2,000. Inscribed by Author(s).
