Ink owner name of Mrs. Orland Campbell, wife of the *Town and Country* cover artist who re-discovered Gilbert Stewart's life portrait of Thomas Jefferson, lost since 1821. The book begins with a poem by Frank Collymore, the editor of the influential literary journal *BIM*, who first brought recognition to Derek Walcott through his connection to the BBC radio program *Caribbean Voices*. The text features sections on sugar cane, minor industries, places of interest, local food and drinks, including seven rum recipes, along with illustrations throughout.
