In the original pictorial covers, 10.25" x 7.25" Asher and his son were natives of the Kentucky mountains when "Mother" encouraged them to start their radio career, offering listeners a "clean, entertaining and uplifting" program. Many of the songs, written by guitarist Asher, are of a regional nature, along with mountain folk songs and hymns.
