Large prize bookplate to the front paste down, to a Charles Blair 1862.The contents clean and tight. Bound in a contemporary full tan calf gilt crest to centre of boards spine with gilt decorated tooling. Some fading to the binding small scuff mark to upper board. The binding tight with no splits or chips or stains. The second edition revised with additional plates by W.Davis.Haskoll.

Tall 8vo. 189pp. With an engraved frontis of the Blechingley tunnel and 16 engraved folding plates to the rear. In publisher's brown embossed cloth recased with new end papers. Binding slightly rubbed but a very good copy. Scarce.
