Hardcover. Condición: Near Fine. A limited edition publication in 1939 by San Francisco?s legendary Grabhorn Press. This copy is in near fine condition, with only a slight touch of sun fading to the top and bottom edges of the front cover and a smallish bump to the top back cover corner to stand as condition issues. Otherwise, the book is in fine condition, with the interior text fine with many pages uncut. The soft blue paper covers are in beautiful condition, and the linen cloth spine is clean and bright with the paper spine label also in fine condition. There is an inked gift inscription on the ffep signed by Dana L. Fuller, 1947. The chapter headings are highlighted by pen-and-ink drawings to illustrate the storyline, which traces the evolution of the W. P. Fuller & Company through the years of California?s economic and cultural development, linking the company to the larger trends and events in the state. With 144 pages and sized 7 1/4 X 10 3/8, this book is a nice example of the fine-press craft and artistry centered in San Francisco. 144 pages.…
