Mint Unread, 320 pages, Hardback with mint/uncut Dust Jacket.Original 1964 1st edition book removed direct from Foulkes home (this is the last copy left) , see my other books by Foulkes on ABE. Dr. Sigmund Heinrich Foulkes , ( born Fuchs ) born in Karlsruhe, Germany, was a founder of Group Analysis, a specific form of group therapy, and the Group Analytic Society, London, which has an international membership in many countries. This is based on Dr. Foulkes experience gained in 25 years of group analytic practice and is a classic in the training of group psychotherapists. He knew & corresponded with Sigmund Freud from early 1930's when they were in Germany. This book was removed direct from his Hampstead home a number of years ago after his wife passed away by us after the Group Analytic Society, London removed what books they wanted for their library. This book was from a small box from the publisher of mint copies of this book, most now sold, one of only a couple left. ( we were asked to clear the flat by a friend who was related to the family. after his closest family members took what they wanted i.e valuable paintings, signed risky personal dedicated James Bond books as Elizabeth his wife knew Ian Fleming when she was single and Fleming was writing the Bond books, and the Group Analytic Society took what they wanted or could find, we removed their personal effects including his library, many of our German text books are from their library, some with SH Foulkes personal book plate. In fact this description was composed sitting on Sigmund's comfortable old 1930's desk chair, that I use now as one of our computer chairs).
