Softcover. Condición: g- to vg. First edition. Quarto (10 1/4 x 7"). 144pp. Original photo-illustrated wrappers with white lettering to covers and spine. By the time this work was published, Robert Capa was already an acclaimed war photographer, photojournalist and one of the founders of Magnum Photos. Subjects ranging from politicians and military leaders, to new immigrants, farmers and the Ultra-orthodox community are featured. Irwin Shaw's text provides relevant and informative information to accompany and give context to the stunning b&w photographs taken by Capa. Wrappers rubbed along joints and edges. Head of spine chipped. Wrappers in overall good-, interior in very good condition. Signed.…
