"In this research paper are assembled the greatest number of Stephen Bulkley imprints so far collected together for comparative inspection." Each of the other sections is also heavily illustrated, mostly with title page facsimiles. Most imprints are from London, Newcastle, Gateshead and especially York. This study takes into account many advances made for the revised edition of Wing. On some points, the author flatly contradicts Plomer's DICTIONARY: 1668 TO 1725.
