Previous owner has made many notations in the recipes they also marked their favorite recipes. Previous owner's name and address written on front paste down and a recipe for an Icing is handwritten in pencil on front free end page. The author learnd as a young girl to cook fromm her mother and never had any formal cooking school training. She and her husband are both from Croatian parents so they are real Zumbercans. It is believe that this book is the first Croatian Cook Book printed in English. All the recipes have been translated to English so the modern houswife can learn to cook many Croatian dishes. These are all original recipes and have been tested many times The Croatian title for the recipes is printed beneath the English title. . This book has been loved and shows that it was used , but for the most part the text is clean and the pages that that have stains are still very readable.
