Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Good. 1st Edition. 1957 1ST EDITION - SERIES "HOW TO CATCH THEM" - VERY GOOD IN A GOOD COMPLETE DUST JACKET: The price is marked as 3/6d net on the inside flap. The light blue boards are fresh, evenly coloured, and the book is tight and square. The pages are clean and free of inscriptions. The dust jacket is complete and has very good colour, although it does show three flattened closed tears with some related creasing. Despite this, it still handles well and presents nicely. This title is one of the rarer editions in this highly collectible series. The book consists of 95 pages, featuring illustrations and an index. Size: 17 cm. Many other titles from this series are also available.

ALL UK PARCELS SENT TRACKED! ALL OVERSEAS PARCELS SENT AIRMAIL, TRACKED! (S/hand, Hardcover, 1960). 1960 1st edition. 8vo (145 x 223mm). Pp160. B/w photographs, illustrations. Green cloth, spine titled in gilt. Edges foxed & slight tanning throughout but a very good copy in dust-wrapper. The author experimented with, and kept detailed records of, fishing with the baited spoon over a period of forty years, fishing mainly for flounders in the tidal creeks of south-east Hampshire. This is one of the most detailed studies of any fishing method, and was entirely innovative in its day. An important monograph on a little-studied aspect of sea angling. .
