Hardcover. Condición: Fair - Cash. Missing the magic lenses. Heavier wear to the cover, corners and edges. There is soiling to the cover and pages, with creases and some tearing. Corners have some heavy rubbing and fraying, the boards are exposed. The spine is taped in a few place on the outside and pages are taped to the binding inside. Some pages are loose. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.

Rumplestiltskin page has come unbound on top binding. Covers show some discoloration, scuffing, chipping and browning from age. Edges show some light scuffing and rubbing as well. This is a very cool book.

The blue and red drawings on each page appear to move when the reader turns a wheel and looks through a pair of "Uncle Ben Jay's magic lenses" included in the front pocket of the book. All wheels and pages in excellent condition other than where the small metal center of some wheels has marked the facing page. Tony Sarg was a master puppeteer, author, film animator, and illustrator, best known for creating the first-ever Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons in 1927, as well as for his mechanical books like this one. This book was published after he died in 1942.

Color pictorial and printed paste-downs with a sleeve for holding the two pairs of "Uncle Ben Jay's Magic Lenses," which are present, attached to front paste-down as issued; the "This Book Belongs To" box on front paste-down not filled in. The blue and red drawings appear to move when viewed through a pair of the included "Magic Lenses;" also, five of the leaves with a double-sided blue and red illustrated story wheel (volvelle) that enables the viewer to see the story's progression "come to life" when viewed through the special lenses; internally clean with all pages and volvelles attached as issued. The condition of the book is VERY GOOD.

Hardcover. Condición: Near Fine. No Jacket. The book is in near fine condition with the two glasses, one with red lenses and one with blue lenses. Each page has a wheel that turns and changes pictures. Three white plastic circles hold the pages together in excellent condition. Comes with the box that is in fair condition, complete but the top and bottom of the box have come off but will come with the box. The box has creases, tears to the sides of the box. Still nice to have the box with the book, it has protected the book very well.
