The blue and red drawings on each page appear to move when the reader turns a wheel and looks through a pair of "Uncle Ben Jay's magic lenses" included in the front pocket of the book. All wheels and pages in excellent condition other than where the small metal center of some wheels has marked the facing page. Tony Sarg was a master puppeteer, author, film animator, and illustrator, best known for creating the first-ever Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons in 1927, as well as for his mechanical books like this one. This book was published after he died in 1942.

Each page has a wheel that turns and changes pictures. Three white plastic circles hold the pages together in excellent condition. Comes with the box that is in fair condition, complete but the top and bottom of the box have come off but will come with the box. The box has creases, tears to the sides of the box. Still nice to have the box with the book, it has protected the book very well.
