Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Good. 1st Edition. Ex-library (Good-). Deaccessioned from a Harvard University library, originally the gift of William Morton Wheeler, who signed his name ("W.M. Wheeler") at top of cover; the library, which accessioned this volume in April 1926, overbound the original printed wrappers in a quarter beige cloth, gray pamphlet binder; the hinges between the wrappers and the text block are cracked, holding precariously, as the front hinge has a two-inch split at top, and the front wrapper is in danger of coming loose if not handled carefully; the bookplate has somehow caused the front wrapper to have a rectangular lighter area at center; volume has short bottom-corner crease; plate 10 has a straightened 3 3/4 inch crease at fore edge; many leaves and plates have small, minor chip(s) or other wear at edge(s); the two original binding staples did not make it to the back wrapper, ending instead between the verso of plate 11 and p. [309], where there are two chips in the final two gutters (inner margins), with the pamphlet binder keeping that area secure; interior is clean. Paginated 255-310, fold-out plates 8-11, as numbered and published in the Journal of Morphology. Interesting provenance. [B2:6:4].…
