'It was called Irish Town when PC Alfred Stanley Rosher walked it in his beat copper days with wary fist and beetlecrusher boots. They called it Irish Town still, when Detective-Inspector Rosher came back on a sentimental journey in his boxy-toed shoes and was offered a body, all charred from a warehouse fire.' iThe book is bound in the original red boards with gold titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with bumping to the spine ends and a crease running across the spine about 1/2" from the top. The contents are tight and clean with age-browning to the pages. There is no inscription. The unclipped dustwrapper has some shelf wear with rubbing along the top edge and bumping to the spine ends.…
