The Bornean hydrocenids have so far been understudied compared to other non-pulmonate snails in this region. In the present study, we review a first group of minute land snail species belonging to the genus Georissa (Gastropoda, Hydrocenidae) from Malaysian Borneo. This group is restricted to the species with conspicuous scale-l…ike sculpture on the shell. Based on materials from recent fieldwork, museums, and personal collections, Malaysian Borneo hydrocenids are more complex and diverse in shell characters than previously anticipated. Here, a molecular, conchological, and biogeographic study of this "scaly group" is presented. We recognise 13 species of which six are new to science, namely Georissa anyiensis sp. n., Georissa muluensis sp. n., Georissa bauensis sp. n., Georissa silaburensis sp. n., Georissa kinabatanganensis sp. n., and Georissa sepulutensis sp. n. 55 pp., 17 figs, br. gr. 8.

The Bornean representatives of the genus Georissa (Hydrocenidae) have small, dextral, conical, calcareous shells consisting of ca. three teleoconch whorls. Our recent study on the Georissa of Malaysian Borneo has revealed high intra- and inter-specific variation in the "scaly" group (a group of species with striking scale-like s…urface sculpture). The present study on the "non-scaly" Georissa is the continuation of the species revision for the genus. The "non-scaly" species are also diverse in shell sculptures. This informal group comprises Georissa with subtle spiral and/or radial sculpture. The combination of detailed conchological assessment and molecular analyses provides clear distinctions for each of the species. Conchological, molecular, and biogeographic details are presented for 16 species of "non-scaly" Georissa. Three of these are new to science, namely Georissa corrugata sp. n., Georissa insulae sp. n., and Georissa trusmadi sp. n. New taxa: Georissa corrugata n. sp., Georissa insulae n. sp., Georissa trusmadi n. sp. pp. 35-86, 20 figs, gr. 8.

We present reviews of the Sabah (Malaysia, on the island of Borneo) species of the following problematical genera of land snails (Mollusca, Gastropoda): Acmella and Anaglyphula (Caenogastropoda: Assimineidae); Ditropopsis (Caenogastropoda: Cyclophoridae); Microcystina (Pulmonata: Ariophantidae); Philalanka and Thysanota (Pulmona…ta: Endodontidae); Kaliella, Rahula, (Pulmonata: Euconulidae); Trochomorpha and Geotrochus (Pulmonata: Trochomorphidae). Next to this, we describe new species in previously revised genera, such as Diplommatina (Diplommatinidae); Georissa (Hydrocenidae); as well as some new species of genera not revised previously, such as Japonia (Cyclophoridae); Durgella and Dyakia (Ariophantidae); Amphidromus, and Trachia (Camaenidae); Paralaoma (Punctidae); Curvella (Subulinidae). All descriptions are based on the morphology of the shells. We distinguish the following 48 new species: Acmella cyrtoglyphe, A. umbilicata, A. ovoidea, A. nana, A. subcancellata, A. striata, and Anaglyphula sauroderma (Assimineidae); Ditropopsis davisoni, D. trachychilus, D. constricta, D. tyloacron, D. cincta, and Japonia anceps (Cyclophoridae); Diplommatina bidentata and D. tylocheilos (Diplommatinidae); Georissa leucococca and G. nephrostoma (Hydrocenidae); Durgella densestriata, Dyakia chlorosoma, Microcystina microrhynchus, M. callifera, M. striatula, M. planiuscula, and M. physotrochus (Ariophantidae); Amphidromus psephos and Trachia serpentinitica (Camaenidae); Philalanka tambunanensis, P. obscura, P. anomphala, P. rugulosa, and P. malimgunung (Endodontidae); Kaliella eurytrochus, K. sublaxa, K. phacomorpha, K. punctata, K. microsoma, Rahula delopleura, (Euconulidae); Paralaoma angusta (Punctidae); Curvella hadrotes (Subulinidae); Trochomorpha trachus, T. haptoderma, T. thelecoryphe, Geotrochus oedobasis, G. spilokeiria, G. scolops, G. kitteli, G. subscalaris, and G. meristorhachis (Trochomorphidae). 139 pp., 92 figs, br. gr. 8.

The Tropical micro-landsnail of the genus Plectostoma exhibits a greater diversity in shell forms, largely due to the last whorl, which, in some species is coiled irregularly. The genus counts 79 species and occurs in Vietnam, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, and Borneo. Plectostoma can only be found in limestone outcrops…, where the rock face is its major habitat. This work revises non-Borneo Plectostoma species, which are more diverse in their shell form than Bornean Plectostoma. As a result, 10 new Plectostoma species are described together with the existing 21 species, based on the redefined shell characters and genetic data. In addition, all the data of 31 species, namely, 62 references, 214 collections, 290 pictures, and 155 3D models, were simultaneously tagged and linked to each other. All the synthesised, semantic-tagged, and linked taxonomic information is made freely and publicly available online. New taxa: Plecostoma davisoni n. sp., Plecostoma dindingensis n. sp., Plecostoma ikanensis n. sp., Plecostoma tohchinyawi n. sp., Plecostoma kubuensis n. sp., Plecostoma mengaburensis n. sp., Plecostoma relauensis n. sp., Plecostoma whitteni n. sp. Sofia, Moscow. Pensoft. 107 pp., 49 figs, br. gr. 8 [16.3 x 23.7 cm].
