Dies, und besonders die radikalen Folgen für die gegenständliche Erscheinung von Philosophie, wird absichtlich ausgeblendet. So bleibt aber auch das Potential Jaspers' für unsere Zeit unbeachtet. Denn er sieht Philosophie, weil sie nicht rationalwissenschaftlich fixierbar ist, nur auf die Veränderung der inneren Haltung des Einzelnen gerichtet, lässt ihre äußere Form aber weitestgehend offen. Und dieser Ansatz, der Philosophie notwendig im Zustand geistiger Bewegung sieht, könnte einen Weg weisen aus dem Dilemma heutigen Philosophierens, das zwischen falschen Verabsolutierungen und haltloser Agnostik schwankt.
