An account, largely from Plyushch's letters and other writings, but also other documents and writings by friends, of this talented dissident engineer-mathematician's sufferings in Dnepropetrovsk special psychiatric hospital, although he was not mentally ill. A classic case of Soviet mis-use and abuse of psychiatry for politcal purposes. He was eventually released and given an exit visa, with his family, in 1976. Includes his February 1976 Press Conference declaration.
