Illustrated cloth boards bright but a little worn to corners and spine top and tail. Binding somewhat floppy. Lovely double page colour frontispiece with tissue guard between them. Two other colour illustrations later in the book have in the past each been re-attached with three strips of rather visible, browning, sticky tape. There are more recent strengtheners to a couple of pages made with clear and near invisible tissue tape. Small piece snipped from top of free FEP.Many illustrations also by May Sandheim pin black and white.

Condition Good, some foxing to most pages, some pages with no foxing, some with little foxing to some with much more. Size approx 50 x 35 cm. Please also examine all our scans for condition. Most notable for the 2 early photographs tipped in even if faded/foxed. At the time of listing, could not find another copy for sale, and WorldCat only lists 9 copies in libraries around the world.
