Añadir al carritoHardcover with Dust Jacket. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good-. RR Ilustrador. First Edition. 8vo. Pp. 320 followed by two pages of publishers ads. Bound in teal cloth with dark blue stylized lettering stamped on front board and spine. Gift inscription on the front free endpaper. In the illustrated dust jacket that shows light edge-wear and faded spine. The titular "silver peril" is a winged helicopter that terrorized Bucharest, and is connected to the Apache gang who hang out at the As de Couer, a cafe in the blackest part of Montmartre. Scotland Yard is on their trail. The dust jacket illustration by RR is constrained by a limited palette, as with that illustrator's jacket for Sing Sing Nights (Dutton, 1928), yet he or she pulls off an effectively dramatic vignette.
