There are former institutional/library markings, including the Victorian Branch RSL / Anzac House stamp, together with a label/tape marking to the lower spine. Please examine photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description. He was the first member of the Australian Infantry Forces to be awarded a Victoria Cross in the First World War.
