Roy Kortick was born in 1968 in Providence, Rhode Island. He recieved a B.A. in visual arts and literature from Bennington College in 1991. He currently works at the School of Visual Arts in the Illustration & Cartooning department as a painting instructor. His artwork is very creative combining landscapes, patterns, and symbols… with pictures of unicorns, goats playing trumpets, and bunny rabbits carrying chainsaws. This exhibit also has ceramic glazed feet, with patterns, attached to the canvas. Very whimsical and often reminiscent of the late Roy de Forest., English, Year2005, Illust. B/W, Illust.
