Autograph note signed, one page, 4 x 3,5 inch, `The Rockefeller Institute` stationery, (New York), 13.05.1966, to an unnamed correspondent - concerning an autograph request, written and signed in dark ink "Your request has given pleasure to Peyton Rous - May 13, 1966", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Francis Peyton Rous as virologist (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), in very fine condition.

Typed letter signed, one page, 8,5 x 11 inch, `The Rockefeller Institute` stationery, West Cornwall (Connecticut), 8.07.1959, to a "Miss Loewenstein" - concerning "Your three volumes", signed in blue ink "Peyton Rous", with a horizontal letter fold and very mild signs of wear to the upper edge - in fine to very fine condition.In part:"Dear Miss Loewenstein: Your three volumes are here and how I am enjoying them, with the more reason because of a belief that they are your own copies, most generously given.
