The same, quite unfairly, is true of their continued survival. Support conservation." Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Fine. 1st Edition. Bound by Andrew Rottner in yellow paper-covered boards, titled and decorated in green, light-green endpapers, green cloth back. A fine copy. A delight of a book, though whether intended to gather support for wildlife conservation or book conservation is hard to say. The certainty is that one feels an enormous desire to colour the drawings in by hand.

Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Fine. Limited Edition. Limited Edition. Hardcover. "Andrew Rottner collaborated on this tribute to printing?s golden age. The story, by Christina Lauritsen, mis-remembers H.C. Andersen?s classic tale of the same name, transforming it into a story of revelation and madness. ?The visual progression of the book mirrors the plot, pitting the beauty of the decorative arts against the intense and unpredictable messiness of human experience. This book confronts the inevitability of loss and bows to intellectual freedom and its attendant risks.[artist statement] Images (drawn by Andrew Rottner) and text letterpressed on to archival pigment printed backgrounds. The book features two 26 wide foldouts. Tight, bright, and unmarred. Indigo brocade cloth binding with a gold floral pattern, recessed front panel with marbled paper onlay decorative elements, printed paper spine label, fold-out plates, tipped in marbled paper. 8vo. np. Illus. (color and b/w plates). Limited edition of 55 copies.
