1652, The Hague, manuscript (Dutch), 1 folded leaf, 3 pp., in a white wrapper inside a blue folder. This manuscript is from the collection of A. Hielkema (Leeuwarden). He provided the manuscript with a description of the content and a full transcription. This manuscript provides legal advice concerning the payment of an autopsy on a drowned child. A. van Berckeloo (subsititute "dijkgraaf") states the father of the child should pay for this. The legal scholars advise against this demand. The description in Dutch by A. Hielkema: Kopie van een juridisch advies van de rechtsgeleerden Johan Walbeek, Javan Andel en D.van Rosendael in zake betaling over de lijkschouwing van een verdronken kind, gedateerd 24 september 1646, met nadere adviezen van later datum en een extract uit de vierschaar d.d 18 september 1646. De substituut van de dijkgraaf van Rijnland, genaamd A van Berckeloo, sist van Arij Pieterszoon van Leeuwen [Leeutger], wonende te Segwaert, betaling van 10 gulden voor het schouwen van zijn verdronken kind. Uit het advies blijkt dat Van Berckeloo zijn eis niet kan staven met een geregistreerd besluit van de staten van Holland, waarop zijn eis gebaseerd zou zijn. Hij beroept zich alleen op oude gewoontes en die worden niet langer erkend om ongeoorloofde afpersing te bestrijden. Dit advies wordt onderschreven door de rechtsgeleerden F.van Swanevelt en D.van Ceulen, 15 oktober 1646 en van W.van Kerchem, gedateerd 31 oktober 1646. Op basis van deze adviezen spreekt de vierschaar recht, waarbij de substituut van de dijkgraaf zijn eis ontzegd wordt. Dit vonnis is gedateerd op 10 maart 1648 en het extract uit het dingboek van Rijnland op 25 Juli 1648. De kopieën van adviezen en uitspraak accorderen met het origineel en zijn gedateerd op 7 februari 1652.

Willem Jacobszoon wonende te Maasland is beleend door de Prins van Oranje als heer van de Leck en Polanen met 8 morgen land, gelegen in het ambacht Maasland (leenbrief gedateerd op 28 april 1603), welke 8 morgen Willem Jacobszoon geërfd heeft van zijn vader. Hij heeft dit land zonder enige toezegging of reserve bezeten gedurende zijn huwelijk met Annetgen Vranckendochter. Aangezien Willem Jacobszoon de rechte leenvolger van zijn vader is geweest, kan zijn weduwe geen aanspraken maken op dit leengoed of op enige compensatie, omdat het leen buiten de gemeenschappelijk boedel valt en zal vererven op de naaste leenvolger. De resterende goederen zullen half en half gedeeld worden tussen de weduwe en de erfgenamen van haar wijlen haar man. Aldus geadviseert in 's Gravenhage 12 april 1619.
